Many people may also consider the job interview process a bit on the discriminatory side. After all, why on earth would a face-to-face truly be necessary if the employer and the company itself are looking for applications, not AT applicants? Truth be told, physical appearance can be just as important as that very fine $1.25 per sheet of thick, smudge-free ink paper that your resume was printed upon. Just think of how many times your mother told you to "wear a suit" to a job interview, instead of your favorite motocross tee shirt and 81's-style ripped jeans. That is, of course, unless you are vying for the bouncer position at the local motorcycle hangout down the street! (Just kidding, to all of my bouncer friends!) As far as the business world is concerned, it is not so much as discriminatory as it is having a discerning eye (and ear)!
