Setting and realizing Goals need not be like the typical New Year's resolution. It is not a matter of luck but the end result of a specific process which allows an organization to determine its destiny. Goals should be specific, measurable, attainable, realistically high and have a time frame attached. There are usually a series of obstacles to successful goal achievement. These need to be identified along with the solution(s) that will allow the obstacle to be overcome. Progress should be periodically measured from beginning to successful conclusion.
