Customer Service - Want a Quick Response? Call Into Sales, Not Support |
My DSL unit is buggy, and I've contacted A T & T about it, several times. Mostly, my calls are connected to offshore units that have no authority to send me a replacement modem. If I want that, they say, I need to contact the "Product Center," which puts me into cue for 20 minutes and then drops my call with a recording that flatly says I'll have to call back in non-peak hours. So, the tack of doing it the official way, by calling support just doesn't work, and it wastes time.
