Data Analysis is an essential part of a TQM Improvement Project. Having relevant and accurate data will lead to higher rate of success. However, time and again, I have team members spend a lot of time dealing with raw data using a spreadsheet such as the MS Excel. It did not occur to the team members that if they master the MS Excel, they can reduce their time by at lest 80% in many cases if they know some of the short cuts keys, command and function in the software.
