Work for Free I always felt crappy after having a sales call and spilling my guts, telling a customer everything I knew about the job, spending hours talking about product knowledge, techniques and such. And then giving the customer the estimate, only to call back several days later to ask the outcome of their decision and to find that the client wouldn't give me the time a day, needless to say, I felt betrayed, and really angry. After reading several sales books and going to several sales courses, I heard others speak of the same type of behavior.
